What I’ve learned so far.

Life has a funny way of showing you what’s good and bad for you.

If there’s anything I’ve learned this year it’s that I’m constantly protected and being watched over by God.

I don’t know what good I did in a past life to be seen and protected like this but I am forever grateful for this bubble of protection me and my family are in.

There were a few things that happened this year which left us shaken up to our core. The first and foremost thing was my mothers accident. I still can’t bring myself to write about it openly but the important thing is that she survived.

It’s been a tough journey for all of us, especially her since she’s the sort of person who is always on her feet. She walked out of it with 9 broken bones that have mostly healed but thankfully there isn’t any permanent damage.

Then there was betrayal. I’ve written about him previously as well so I’m not going to get into details about it but he portrayed himself as the perfect man for me and ended up shattering that image of his. I spent most of this year, approximately 7 months mourning him.

I wouldn’t call it a waste of time, we all grieve in different ways and there’s no time span for a broken heart to heal and that process cant be forced.

You need to go through the bullshit to find a place of balance and contentment and that’s what has gotten me through this.
